Creating a works cited / reference page is normally very time consuming. Not anymore! Using websites such as EasyBib or BibMe, all you have to do is input the source and the site will automatically find your source and extract the necessary information and then allow you to save your final project in a formatted .doc file!

Modern Tips for College Success #2 - Wolfram Alpha

Wolfram alpha is a computational engine that is absolutely amazing. It can solve almost any Math problem and even show you the work/process used to obtain the answer. I used it frequently while doing my ungraded recommended Calculus homework. Even though the homework was ungraded, practicing doing the problems was a necessity, especially because the quiz problems always came from the homework. All you have to do it type in the problem and press enter and within seconds your answer is waiting for you. Wolfram Alpha does a lot more than Math too. It can do Physics, Chemistry, Music stuff, weather, politics, and much much more.

I'm starting a new series on modern tips for success in college. Each video will be a short demonstration of newer technology that you may have never seen or thought of for saving you time and frustration in college.

This first video is on using Google Docs. It is not intended to be a complete tutorial, but rather just to let you know this option exists next time you are considering doing a group project or you want an easy way to edit your files from any computer.
